Miss Nicole
Region Owner
Dance & Yoga Instructor
with CKMN since 2025!
Nicole Zornitzer is thrilled to be a part of the Creative Kids Movement Network and looks forward to sharing her passion for yoga and dance with young hearts in Jacksonville, Florida!
Nicole founded Niyama Yoga Shalas in 2007 in Baltimore, Maryland, bringing over 30 years of experience in the wellness industry and 23 years in Corporate America. Her tenure at one of the world's largest global cosmetics companies provided her with the opportunity to channel her expertise into a more meaningful and fulfilling industry.
She has spent the past 18 years collaborating with public and private schools, as well as medical institutions nationwide, offering yoga therapy to children and adults with special needs, injuries, or those seeking to incorporate yoga into their daily routines. She has also partnered with corporations, community centers, and professional sports teams—including the New York Jets Football Team and local lacrosse teams—to promote health, wellness, and peak performance through yoga and meditation. It has always been Nicole’s mission to bring yoga, creative movement, and mindfulness to the youngest populations, knowing that children are often receptive to the many benefits of such practices. In her opinion, working with children is one of the most rewarding and important responsibilities one can experience; seeing children learn, evolve, and embrace the art of movement is her passion.
In 2019, Nicole opened her first large-scale brick-and-mortar Yoga Shala, quickly expanding to three locations in New Jersey and a satellite studio in Delray Beach, Florida. Committed to continuous evolution and addressing market needs, she has nurtured her New Jersey presence while also growing Niyama Yoga into a global brand. This expansion includes Wellness Adventure Retreats and developments across the Southeastern United States. In 2024, she further broadened her reach by launching Niyama Yoga Shalas & Niyama Ayurveda in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Nicole is a pioneer in bringing emerging healing modalities to the forefront and takes pride in being among the first to introduce innovative wellness practices.
In 2020, she founded Niyama Yoga Retreats, an international wellness and adventure retreat company that carefully curates transformative travel experiences. Her work has fostered a strong global community of like-minded yogis who find solace, acceptance, and growth through her retreats. In 2024, she expanded even further by partnering with a company in Ayampe, Ecuador, where she opened Niyama Yoga Shala Ayampe. This location hosts quarterly retreats, immersive wellness programs, and annual residential teacher training programs.
Nicole’s Inspiration
After facing a personal health crisis in 2015, Nicole turned to her deep-rooted yoga practice to heal. This pivotal experience reinforced the importance of integrating an Ayurvedic lifestyle into her already demanding roles in yoga, Corporate America, motherhood, and relationships. She attributes her unwavering motivation to her children, Jared and Larissa, who remain the center of her world. With the support and patience of her husband, Robert, she has been able to bring her vision and dharma to life.
When she isn’t teaching or traveling, Nicole enjoys cycling, hiking, cooking, reading, and most importantly, spending quality time with her loved ones—often snuggling with her cherished pups, Steel, Coda-Bear, and Monte.
